Welcome to our daily Nittany Notebook. This post will be updated with news frequently throughout the day, so be sure to check back often to stay on top of everything that’s going on with Penn State football and athletics, plus other sports of interest in central PA.

**I said it the day the trade was made: Tyler Glasnow was better than Chris Archer already! No one believed me at that point.

The Pirates also gave up Austin Meadows and Shane Baz in the historically awful trade.

Sigh.

**We’re getting closer to actual football being played by Penn State, which means there will be a ton of good stories written about the Nittany Lions in the coming weeks.
