2-Minute Morning (9-27): Bill O’Brien deserves respect of PSU fans, but doesn’t always get it

Former Penn State coach Bill O’Brien is back in Pennsylvania today as coach of the Houston Texans, who take on the Steelers at Heinz Field.

O’Brien coached the Nittany Lions in 2012 and ’13, two very difficult years following the scandal and sanctions. He then left for the NFL and is in his seventh season with the Texans.

While many Lion fans agree that O’Brien did amazing work at PSU, some still seem to begrudge him for leaving after only two years.
