On the same day Andy Gemao secured his first Division 1 men’s basketball offer from Penn State University, he has now officially committed to the Blue & White.
The 6-foot-2 swingman from Manila, Philippines played his senior year of basketball for the Royal Crown School in Toronto, Canada.
During this time, Gemao led his team to a 19–2 record and earned a spot on the All-OSBA Second Team.
After attending the Adidas Nations Tokyo Under-19 Special Camp last April, Gemao returned to the Philippines to evaluate his next steps in his basketball career.
He saw action in one game with the University of the Philippines in Asiabasket.

Gemao is regarded as the top Filipino prospect in the Class of 2026.
From representing the Philippines, playing in HS hoops in Canada, to now playing in the Big Ten, Gemao’s journey keeps getting bigger.
