As hard as it might be to believe with all the talk about James Franklin’s firing and who Penn State might replace him with, there is a football game between Penn State and Iowa tonight.

LG Vega Ioane was listed as “OUT” on the Big Ten’s availability report.
In a season that’s been disappointing for the program as a whole and for the o-line as a whole, Ioane has played well. Multiple mock drafts published within the last month have Ioane going in the first round, so yeah, this loss will hurt.
With Penn State already without starting QB Drew Allar for the season, it will be essential for the team to run the ball. Not having their best run blocker will make that hard to do.
