University Park, PA– Penn State did something in the second quarter Saturday the Nittany Lions haven’t done in a while: take the lead.
Kaytron Allen’s 11-yard touchdown rush marked the first time Penn State has held a lead in a game since the second quarter against Oregon two weeks ago.
Allen’s rush signified an emphasis in feeding him the football early and often as he seemingly has taken the reins as RB1 after splitting the role with Nicholas Singleton throughout their careers at Penn State.
