It Happened: Penn State Loses to Lowly UCLA

Penn State lost to 0-4 UCLA.

Yeah, you read that right.

Yeah, it’s that bad.

Here’s how it happened.

UCLA got the scoring started right away, with an 11-play, 75-yard touchdown drive.

UCLA then recovered an onside kick and made a field goal to push the lead to 10-0.

Penn State fought back to score on a 13-yard TD run by Kaytron Allen. But then, UCLA made it 17-7 on a 6-yard TD pass by Nico Iamaleava.

UCLA went ahead and scored again, with a three-yard TD run by Iamaleava that made it 24-7.

Penn State scored two touchdowns in the third quarter to make it 27-21. But, UCLA scored again, making it 34-21.

A Penn State score was followed by a UCLA score and 2-pt conversion that made it 42-28.

Penn State cut it back to seven on a touchdown pass from Drew Allar to Kyron Hudson.

But even after Penn State stopped UCLA on 4th and 1, UCLA stopped Penn State on 4th and 2 to seal the win.

For those who care, Penn State next takes on Northwestern. Kickoff is scheduled for 3:30 on Homecoming.
