Former Penn State Wide Receiver Parker Washington Selected by Jacksonville In 6th Round of NFL Draft

Former Penn State wide receiver Parker Washington has been drafted by the Jacksonville Jaguars in the sixth round.

Washington (5-foot-10, 207 pounds) a Sugar Land, Texas native played at Penn State for three seasons at Penn State with his best season coming in 2021 when he recorded 64 passes for 820 yards and four touchdowns.

In 2022, he recorded 46 catches for 611 yards and two touchdowns, and 18 punt returns for 99 yards.

As a freshman, Washington recorded 36 catches for 489 yards and six touchdowns as he was named a second-team All-American freshman All-American by the Athletic.

Washington already has ties to the NFL as his sister Ashton is currently a scout for the Chicago Bears and his cousin Josh Dobbs is currently the backup quarterback for the Cleveland Browns.
