Penn State Opens as an 11-Point Favorite Against Maryland

In a battle of two teams in the midst of tough losing skids, Penn State is favored to beat Maryland comfortably.

Coming off of three consecutive losses, the Nittany Lions are an 11-point favorite against a Maryland team that had lost three in a row — including blowouts against Iowa and Ohio State — before sneaking past Indiana on Saturday. The over/under is set at 60 points.

DraftKings has the Lions as an 11-point favorite, with a bet against the spread in favor of either team holding -110 odds. The over/under is set at 55.5 points, with the over holding -105 odds and the under holding -115 odds.

FanDuel favors the Lions as an 11.5-point road favorite, betting the spread for the Lions holding -105 odds and betting the spread for Maryland holding -114 odds. The over/under is set at 55.5 points, the over and under holding -110 odds. A moneyline bet for the Lions holds -470 odds while the same bet for Maryland holds +340 odds.

Maryland is 5-3 this season, losing three of the last four after a 4-0 start, but the Terrapins are 3-5 against the spread. The Lions have gone 5-3 against the spread this season.
