James Franklin’s team is moving closer to the top spot in college team.
Following their 38-17 win over Villanova, Penn State has moved up to No. 4 in the latest AP Top 25 Rankings. They jump up two spots and leap over Iowa, who was No. 5 last week.
Their standing at No. 4 is their highest spot in the rankings is their highest since November 2019, when they were also ranked No. 4.
Penn State is one of five ranked Big 10 teams: Penn State No. 4, Iowa No. 5, Ohio State No. 11, Michigan No. 14 and Michigan State No. 17.
