Penn State has the White Out, and it appears that Ohio State will now have the “Scarlet Out”.
The Nittany Lions will travel to Colombus, Ohio on Oct. 30 for a crucial B1G-East contest at the Horseshoe. With the Buckeyes in scarlet, the fans in the stands are encouraged to “scarlet the stadium” with all scarlet apparel, blankets, etc.

Ohio State has worn alternate jerseys against the Lions a few times, in 2013, 2015 and 2017, but this is the first edition of the “All Scarlet.” Just over a month away from the contest, both Penn State and Ohio State have a handful of games in between. However, Ohio State will be the true test for the Lions this season.
The Lions have just one win over the Buckeyes dating back to 2012, a 24-21 victory in 2016. If Penn State wants to take the next step and cement a 4th-ranked season, a win over Ohio State in Colombus will be necessary. And it’ll have to come in a perhaps White Out inspired “Scarlet Out” game.
The PSU-OSU game time and television channel will be announced at a later date.
