In of the three games this weekend between ranked teams, No. 10 Penn State will host No. 22 Auburn at 7:30 PM on ABC.
This will be a matchup between schools from the two conferences that most people believe are the two best in college football, the SEC and the Big 10. As far as the history between Auburn and Penn State, this will be just the third game between the two programs. The two other games have been split with Penn State winning in 1996 and then Auburn coming out on top in 2003.
The odds for Saturday nights game have been set and it’s no surprise that the Nittany Lions are favorites. According to Draft Kings, James Franklin’s team are the early -6.5 point favorites with an over/under of 53.
So far this season, Penn State is 2-0 against the spread, winning as road underdogs against Wisconsin and then covering the 22.5 point spread on Saturday against Ball State. Auburn has also covered both of the Vegas lines as the covered the -37 spread in Week One against Akron, and were able to cover the -49.5 spread on Saturday against Alabama State.
