Penn State concludes its non-conference schedule Saturday as the Buffalo Bulls come to Beaver Stadium.
PSU is 33-3 all-time against current members of the MAC. Buffalo is 1-1 to start the year and lost to FIU 33-20 last week. Penn State beat FIU 34-0 at home last year.
PSU took down Temple 27-9 at Lincoln Financial Field last week after a difficult first half in Philadelphia. This is the team’s final opportunity to get things right before Wisconsin comes to State College Sept. 26 to start Big Ten play.
Penn State is 3-1 in four previous matchups against Buffalo, including a 45-13 win in 2019.
Matt Campbell’s squad ranks No. 14 in the AP Poll and No. 15 in the Coaches Poll. Penn State owns the No. 1 scoring defense in college football (4.5 points) after two solid defensive performances.

It will feel like fall in State College Saturday, with temperatures between 65 and 70 degrees during the game. There’s no rain expected in the forecast, and it will be an overcast afternoon in Happy Valley. It will only be 54 degrees when tailgate lots open in the morning and will significantly warm up during the day.
