Barstool Sports wasnโ€™t too happy about Penn State tight end Tyler Warren winning the John Mackey Award, which is presented annually to the nationโ€™s top tight end.

Ft. Lauderdale, Floridaโ€” In the wonderful land of odds, there are a few intriguing props for tonightโ€™s Orange Bowl/College Football Playoff semifinal between Penn State and Notre Dame.

It isnโ€™t often that player props available for college football gamesโ€” the NFL is a different storyโ€” but the College Football Playoff is an exception.

So, yes, there are props for Penn State-Notre Dame. In more traditional betting news, Notre Dame is a slight favorite at -1.5. This marks the third time Penn State has been an underdog this season, with the first two being its losses to Ohio State and Oregon.

Here are three intriguing prop bets for Penn State-Notre Dame, with odds courtesy of FanDuel Sportsbook.

NO. 1: TYLER WARRENโ€™S YARDS (65.5)

Penn State TE Tyler Warren and his teammates could well see Oregon again in the College Football Playoff.

63.5 is the total amount of yards Warren must meet to satisfy those who bet on him. The John Mackey Award winner has exceeded 65 yards in six of Penn Stateโ€™s 15 games, so itโ€™s a toss up. Warren was right at the line in the teamโ€™s Fiesta Bowl/College Football Playoff quarterfinal win over Boise State New Yearโ€™s Eve night. He also caught two touchdown passes, which is why he was the gameโ€™s offensive MVP. Warren was quiet in Penn Stateโ€™s 38-10 first-round win over SMU, catching four passes for 33 yards. But he had 224 yards against USC, so, yeah, heโ€™s capable. FanDuel has him at -114 to go over.

NO. 2: THE OVER/UNDER

Penn State would love to have LB Kobe King back next season.

The over/under for this game is set at a relatively low 45.5. Vegas likes the under to hit at -120. This speaks to how good each team is defensively. Notre Dame has the No. 2 scoring defense in the country and Penn State isnโ€™t too far behind at No. 7. So points could well be at a ย premium.

Kickoff is scheduled for 7:30 on ESPN.
