On the broadcast of Saturday’s Big Noon Kickoff broadcast of the Penn State-Michigan Pregame Show, it was revealed that the Oct. 29 game between Ohio State vs. Penn State will be the FOX Big Noon Kickoff Game of the Week.
This will be the first time since 2001 that an Ohio State game at Penn State game will kick off at noon, and the first time since 2009 that the matchup between the two teams will take place in a daytime slot.
The game will serve also as the annual “Stripe Out” game for Penn State, as the “White Out” against Minnesota will be next Saturday. That game has a 7:30 p.m. kickoff from Beaver Stadium.
Penn State will try to snap a five-game losing streak to Ohio State, last beating them in 2016 by the score of 24-21 at Beaver Stadium on their way to winning its last Big Ten Championship.
Penn State will be facing its biggest test of the season because of Ohio State, and the same could be said the other way around. Ohio State is the only team in the country to defeat all of their opponents by double digits this season.
Penn State has to travel to Michigan today, then host Minnesota next Saturday, while Ohio State is on its bye this week, then they will host Iowa next week before the much-anticipated matchup.
