**Tonight, Terry Smith and Penn State have extended an offer to 2024 4-star cornerback Zion Ferguson from Grayson High School in Loganville, Georgia. This is interesting because Ferguson just made a verbal commitment to LSU 3 days ago (September 4). Ferguson is rated as one of the Top 100 overall players in the Class of 2024 and committed to Brian Kelly and LSU over other offers from Arkansas, Auburn, Florida State, Georgia, Maryland, Michigan, Michigan State, Ole Miss, Mississippi State, Nebraska, North Carolina, Oregon, Pitt, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Texas A&M and Wake Forest.

 

Update (2:04 PM)-
**Penn State football has extended an offer to 2026 outside linebacker Maurice Medley (6’3″, 210) from St. Frances Academy in Baltimore, Maryland. This becomes Medley’s third D-1 offer with the other two coming from Boston College and Maryland.

**Penn State 2024 commit 4-star offensive tackle Alex Birchmeier will be in State College this weekend for the home opener.

**Penn State extends an offer to 2024 4-star defensive end Williams Nwaneri from Lee’s Summit, Missouri. Rivals ranks Nwaneri as one of the Top 100 overall players in the Class of 2024. At this point, Nwaneri holds offers from Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, Illinois, Iowa, Iowa State, Kansas State, Michigan, Michigan State, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, Notre Dame, Oklahoma, Oregon, Texas A&M, USC, Vanderbilt and Kansas.

**Penn State football has extended an offer 2024 4-star linebacker Cayden Jones from Christ School in Arden, North Carolina. Jones holds an impressive offer list that includes Auburn, Louisville, Michigan State, Ole Miss, Michigan, Missouri, North Carolina, NC State, Notre Dame, Oklahoma, Pitt, South Carolina, Tennessee, USC and Virginia Tech.
