A 247Sports’ Crystal Ball prediction has King Mack becoming a Penn State Nittany Lion.

The projection was placed Wednesday by 247Sports’ Southeast Recruiting Analyst Andrew Ivins. It is the only “Crystal Ball” prediction thus far from the site.

Penn State is one of more than 30 Division I schools to offer Mack. He has offers from Arkansas, Boston College, Cincinnati, Colorado, Georgia Tech, Indiana, Iowa, Louisville, Maryland, Miami, Michigan State, Minnesota, Mississippi State, Nebraska, North Carolina, Ole Miss, Pitt, Rutgers, South Carolina, Syracuse, Texas A&M and West Virginia.

Mack is the No. 27 safety in the nation, the No. 59 recruit in Florida and the No. 306 ranked recruit in the 2023 class.

The 5-foot-11, 180-pound Mack started all 13 games for the Raiders, recording 54 tackles, four interceptions, three pass breakups, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery, helping lead St. Thomas Aquinas to the Florida 7A State championship.

Mack is expected to visit Penn State June 17. If Mack comes to Penn State, he will join his St. Thomas Aquinas teammate Conrad Hussey, who committed in May.
