The 6’0″, 190-pound athlete made a visit to State College April 9 and received his offer from Penn State last May. Along with Penn State, Hussey also held offers from Colorado, Florida, Florida State, Georgia Tech, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Maryland, Ole Miss, Mississippi State, Missouri, South Carolina and Utah.
Hussey’s offer really picked up after a solid junior season and performances in various prospect camps. Although his primary position is defensive back, Hussey is a tremendous athlete as demonstrated by having also played running back and wide receiver. Last month, Hussey reportedly ran a 10.9-second 100-meter dash.

Hussey is the second player from Florida in Penn State’s Class of 2023, joining four-star quarterback Marcus Stokes.
With today’s news, Penn State now has 11 commitments for the Class of 2023. The addition of Hussey comes a few days after the commitment of 2023 four-star defensive end Jameial Lyons from Philadelphia.
