The Penn State men’s basketball team just filled a needed position for the 2026-2027 roster in 6’-11” Tim Oboh.
The center from London, England played his last two seasons with the Buffalo Bulls of the Mid-Atlantic Conference and has two years of eligibility remaining.
Oboh will be the eighth international Nittany Lion on the 2026-2027 roster who has professional International Basketball Federation (FIBA) playing experience.
Oboh represented Great Britain’s national team in FIBA play.
Last season for the Bulls, Oboh averaged 8.5 points, 4.9 rebounds and 1.5 blocks per game while shooting 61.1% from the field.
Freshman star center/forward for Penn State, Ivan Juric, need’s another big body inside to help him around the rim and for when he exits the game.
Penn State also has Sasa Ciani and Tibor Mirtic to help in the paint, but the Nittany Lions needed another big man presence inside.
Oboh should help, immediately, around the rim as a scorer and defensively as a shot blocking rim protector.
