Penn State wrestling secured its 81st consecutive dual meet win with four bouts to spare Friday night against Indiana.

Six bonus point wins to start the night put Penn State up 31-0, and the dominance continued after that.

No. 1 Luke Lilledahl started the night with a pin over Indiana’s Jacob Moran.

It was Lilledahl’s sixth straight win over a ranked opponent, and avenged a high school loss to Moran suffered in 2022.

True freshman No. 4 Marcus Blaze kept his undefeated season going at 133, with a tech fall win over Indiana’s Blaine Fraiser.

At 141, No. 11 Braeden Davis avenged a tough loss in Iowa City with his best offensive showing in college wrestling, getting a 24-10 major decision over Henry Porter.

No. 1 Shayne Van Ness let it going at 149 with a 20-3 tech fall over Indiana’s Joey Buttler.

True freshman PJ Duke, ranked No. 3 at 157, scored 21 points in just over a period in a tech fall over Indiana’s Bryce Lowrey.

No. 1 Mitchell Mesenbrink sealed the team win at 165.

Penn State wrestling now has shut out six of its nine dual meet opponents, which is the most season shutouts of the Cael Sanderson era with five dual meets left.
