No. 2 Penn State technically isn’t favored against Villanova because, well, there is no spread, at least not right now.
Look on FanDuel, DraftKings and the ActionNetwork, and you won’t find a line.
The expectation is that Penn State will beat its only in-state opponent of 2025 by a wide margin.
But how much Penn State is supposed to win by is hard to say exactly because, well, there is no spread.
The reason for this isn’t entirely clear. But although there’s no law against point spreads for FBS/FCS matchups, one would guess that this would be the reason.
The last time Penn State played Villanova was 2021, and in that game, a spread eventually came out, with Penn State being a 29.5-point favorite.
