University Park— Penn State announced its attendance for Saturday’s game against Villanova, and it was the highest PSU had had in 2025 thus far.
After an announced attendance of 106,915 against Nevada in the season opener, then 103,818 the next week against FIU, Penn State announced 109,516 for Saturday’s game against Villanova.
Granted, this was never a game that was going to break any Beaver Stadium records. At the same time, a figure like that against an FCS program like Villanova is noteworthy.
But it will be nothing compared to what awaits Happy Valley in two weeks.
On that night, the program hosts No. 4 Oregon for the annual White Out game. If the rankings hold, it will be the first time two top-four teams have ever met for a White Out.
That game is scheduled for 7:30 on NBC.
The current Penn State attendance record is 111,030, set last November against Ohio State.
