UNIVERSITY PARK– Penn State football’s first starting lineup of the 2025 season has been revealed.
Coach James Franklin provided plenty of insight into what the lineup could look like Monday afternoon at his first weekly press conference of the season.
He told reporters directly that Antoine Belgrave-Shorter would start at strong safety opposite Zakee Wheatley and listed his top five offensive linemen.
Of course, other aspects of the lineup could have been picked up just by common sense.
We’ve known all offseason that Drew Allar would be back at starting QB, that Nicholas Singleton and Kaytron Allen would be splitting time at RB and that Dani Dennis-Sutton and Zakee Wheatley would remain fixtures on defense.
But there were other spots that weren’t as certain, and here’s where those spots stand Week 1.
