It’s looking like Penn State’s running back group might be just fine after Nicholas Singleton and Kaytron Allen depart.
Five-star phenom Kemon Spell, the pride of McKeesport High School in the Pittsburgh Area, received the opening kickoff to start his junior season.
All he did was run it back for a 98 yard touchdown.
On his first carry of the game and second touch, he went 44 yards for a score.
As if that weren’t enough, Spell took his second carry of the game 80 yards to the house.
Spell is the No. 1 running back in the county and the No. 1 player in Pennsylvania per 247Sports. 247’s composite rankings also have him as the No. 9 overall player in the land.
Yeah, he’s pretty good.
