Penn State Basketball: The Non-Conference Slate Of Games Is Set

The Penn State men’s basketball team has unveiled its 2025-2026 non-conference schedule. There are a total of 11 games with 7 of them being at home.

 2025-2026 NON-CONFERENCE OPPONENTS

  1. Monday, Nov. 3: Penn State basketball is at Home against Fairfield University. The Stags play in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) and went 12-20 last season.
  2. Saturday, Nov. 8: Away against New Haven University  The Chargers are transitioning to Division I and became a member of the Northeast Conference (NEC) July 1. They went 12-17 last year.
  3. Tuesday, Nov. 11: Home against Navy. The Midshipmen compete in the Patriot League and went 15-19 last season and played in their tournament championship game.
  4. Saturday, Nov. 15:  Away against La Salle. The Explorers compete in the Atlantic 10 Conference.  This game is being played at the neutral-site of the Xfinity Mobile Arena in Philadelphia. The Explorers went 14-19 last season.  This night also features a hometown doubleheader of Philadelphia’s own Drexel University taking on Syracuse.
  5. Wednesday, November 19: Home against Harvard University. The Crimson compete in the Ivy League and went 12-15 last year.
  6. Saturday, November 22:  Away vs. Providence for the Hall of Fame Showcase at the neutral-site of the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut. The Friars went 12-20 last year and they compete in the Big East Conference.
  7. Tuesday, November 25: Home against Boston University. The Terriers are from the Patriot League and their overall record last year was 16-16.
  8. Saturday, November 29:  Home against Sacred Heart University. The Pioneers play in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) and their overall record last year was 15-18.
  9. Tuesday, December 2:  Home against Campbell University. The Fighting Camels play in the Coastal Athletic Association (CAA) and their overall record last year was 15-17.
  10. Sunday, December 21University of Pittsburgh. This Keystone State Clash is being playing in the neutral site of the GIANT Center in Hershey, Pa. The Panthers compete in the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) and went 17-15 last year.
  11. Monday, December 29: Home against North Carolina Central. The Eagles compete in the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) and their overall record last season was 14-19.

Tipoff times and television broadcast designations will be announced at a later date. The Big Ten schedule will be announced by the conference office in the coming weeks.
