Kemon Spell has been committed to Penn State for more than a year but it appears that other schools are still in play for him.
Spell told Hayes Fawcett of On3Sports that there are six schools that he’d consider should he flip from Penn State.
Those schools are: Alabama, Michigan, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Tennessee and USC.
He’ll be making visits to each of those schools, starting this weekend in Columbus for Ohio State’s showdown with Texas. He’ll be going to Notre Dame Oct. 18 for its clash with Texas A&M, at Tennessee for its Nov. 1 game against Oklahoma and hasn’t yet set dates for his visits to Alabama, USC or Michigan.
Additionally, Spell still plans to visit Florida State for its Oct. 4 game against Miami.
Fear not, Penn State fans, he still plans to visit PSU for the White Out against Oregon Sept. 27.
Spell also talked with On3 about his commitment to PSU.
“Just the love and the relationship between the whole coaching staff,” Spell said. “The way they treat me and their own kids stands out. It’s just a great program.”
Spell did nothing to push potential poachers away in his season opener last week.
Spell received the opening kickoff to start his junior season.

On his first carry of the game and second touch, he went 44 yards for a score.
As if that weren’t enough, Spell took his second carry of the game 80 yards to the house. He ended the day with— and you’re not about to misread this— 293 yards and five touchdowns on 13 carries.
Spell is the No. 1 running back in the county and the No. 1 player in Pennsylvania per 247Sports. 247’s composite rankings also have him as the No. 9 overall player in the land.
Yeah, he’s pretty good.

“Oh, I’m like a thousand percent locked in,” Spell told Nittany Sports now. “When I was talking to Ohio State, they knew I was locked in with Penn State, and that I shut down my recruitment. And I let them know that I did that.”
