Penn State Basketball: 1st 2026 Commitment Has Signed

The first recruit for Mike Rhoades and company from the Class of 2026 has made it official that he will play for the Blue and White after high school. Dionycius Bakare from the Phelps School in Malvern, Pa. is coming to Penn State to begin the 2026-2027 season. The 6′-5″ small forward was also sought after by Arizona State, South Florida and Washington. The Vancouver, Canada native will join PSU freshman Justin Houser, who also went to the Phelps School.
