Penn State QB Commit Flips To Auburn

Despite the numerous laurels that quarterback guru Brad Mandler has showered Nazareth (Nazareth, PA) quarterback Peyton Falzone, notably as the best athlete he has ever coached, has decommitted from Penn State.

The four-star quarterback ranked No. 6 in the state of Pennsylvania in the Class of 2026 by the 247Sports Composite, has flipped to Auburn.ย 

During Falzoneโ€™s junior season at Nazareth, Falzone completed 146 of 278 pass attempts, throwing for 2,135 yards with 23 passing touchdowns and four interceptions.ย 

Falzoneย  added 697 rushing yards, eight rushing touchdowns on 78 carries.

During Falzoneโ€™s original recruitment was with Virginia Tech, where Falzone committed to in June 2024., Penn State shown interest in the rapid development in Falzone during a breakout junior season. Falzone decommitted from Virginia Tech in November 2024. Penn State was able to wrestle Falzone away from Virginia Tech as well as outlasting Iowa, Syracuse, and Utah.ย 

The direction now shifts for Penn State withย  four-star quarterback Troy Huhn from Mission Hills (San Marcos, CA). Huhn reached the Elite 11 Finals, where Huhn completed 12 of 22 passes for five touchdowns and an interception.
