The momentum continues for Penn State recruiting as the nation’s No. 2 EDGE rusher per On3 Sports has listed the Nittany Lions in his final four.
Five-star EDGE rusher Carter Meadows from Gonzaga (Washington DC) named his final four finalists.
According to On3 Insider Steve Wiltfong, Meadows finalists are Michigan, Ohio State, South Carolina, and Penn State.
Meadows scouting report typically highlights the unique frame, size, and movement to attack from the edge. The potential to bulk up could push 280 pounds and be highly coveted by the NFL.
What Meadows likes about Penn State is head coach James Franklin and the recent success of producing first round EDGE rushers to the NFL notably Abdul Carter and Chop Robinson
Each of Meadows finalists will get an official visit. Meadows will start with South Carolina for the weekend of May 30 to June 1. Meadows then will travel to Penn State between June 6 to June 8, then the following week (June 13 to June 15) to Ohio State, then finish with Michigan on June 20.
Meadows has been recruited by defensive line coach Deion Barnes and tight ends coach Ty Howle. Penn State has had recent success with Gonzaga prospects notably landing offensive lineman Olu Fashanu, who was the No. 11 overall pick by the New York Jets in the 2024 NFL Draft.
