Update (9:30 a.m.)— **A Penn State baseball pitcher just reached a career milestone. Ryan Desanto now has 200 career strikeouts. Desanto, a lefty, played his first two seasons at St. Joe’s before transferring to Happy Valley. He’s down well for Penn State, currently carrying a 6-1 record with a 3.62 ERA.

Update (9:00 a.m.)— **Former Penn State women’s basketball player Gabby Elliot is now an Arizona State Sun Devil per Talia Goodman of On3Sports. Elliot averaged 13.6 points (second on the team) and 4.6 rebounds (also second) per game last season.

Update (8:30 a.m.)— **Former Penn State WR KeAndre Lambert-Smith is taking a top 30 visit with the Buffalo Bills. Lambert-Smith, who played at PSU from 2020-23, spent his last year of eligibility with Auburn, where he put up his best statistical season. Lambert-Smith ended 2024 with 981 yards and eight touchdowns on 50 catches.
Per his Facebook account, #Auburn WR Keandre Lambert-Smith is taking his FIRST top-30 visit with the #Bills.
Lambert-Smith is raw but is a talented vertical threat. I appreciate his ability to track the ball and his awareness on scramble drills.

Update (7:30 a.m.) — **PSU football’s top Class of 2027 commit has been invited to the Navy All-American Bowl Game. It’s McKeesport’s Kemon Spell, who committed to PSU in August. On3 has Spell as the No. 7 overall player in his class, as a well as the No. 1 RB and the No. 1 player in PA.

Update (7:00 a.m.)— In Big Ten wrestling news, Nebraska’s Lenny Pinto has entered the transfer portal. Pinto qualified for nationals three times for the Huskers. Pinto most recently competed at 184 pounds.
