Julian Fleming has earned an opportunity to compete at the highest level.
On Saturday, the former Penn State wide receiver signed an undrafted free agent contract with the Green Bay Packers.
Fleming spent the first four of his five year college career at Ohio State.
Not someone who fills up the stat sheet, Fleming brought leadership to the wide receiver room and was a good run blocker in Andy Kotelnickiโs offense.
Flemingโs biggest accomplishment included catching two passes on fourth down to keep Penn State alive at USC in an eventual 33-30 OT win. He concluded his PSU career with 14 catches, 176 yards, and one touchdown.
The Southern Columbia High School alum caught 79 passes for 963 yards and seven touchdowns as a Buckeye. Flemingโs best season came in 2022, grabbing 34 balls for 533 yards and six touchdowns. His production dipped to 24 catches and did not reach the end zone in his final year in Columbus.
Packers rookie minicamp begins on May 12.
