Former Penn State LB Ta’Mere Robinson Headed to USC

Although Ta’Mere Robinson made the decision to transfer from Penn State, he’ll still be playing in the Big Ten Conference.

After a weekend visit, the former 4-star linebacker from Brashear High School is headed out to the West Coast to play for Lincoln Riley and the USC Trojans.

Hayes Fawcett from On3 Sports was first with this news Tuesday morning.

Despite being a highly rated national recruit coming out of high school, injuries prevent Robinson from truly cracking the Penn State defensive depth chart.

Robinson redshirted as a freshman and appeared in 14 games this past season, registering a total of 99 defensive snaps and making 11 tackles in a reserve role.

Many people found it interesting that Robinson made the decision to transfer from Penn State considering there’s an opening at their MIKE linebacker position due standout Kobe King declaring for the NFL Draft.

Robinson will have 3 seasons of athletic eligibility remaining with USC.

In case you were wondering, Penn State and USC will not play during the 2025 season.
