In recruiting news, Cael Sanderson and Penn State wrestling has made the final four for Americaโs No. 1 prospect.
Late Monday morning, Bo Bassett announced to FloWrestlingโs Christian Pyles that Penn State is in the final four along with Oklahoma State, Iowa and Virginia Tech.

He will announce his decision Tuesday.
This is a big deal for obvious reasons. For one, Bassett is, well, the No. 1 recruit in the country from his class, so, yeah, heโs pretty good. Heโs also a PA guy.
UNDEFEATED. NEVER LOST
The Bishop McCourt star has never lost a high school match (itโs doubtful he lost many before high school, either). As a freshman in 2022-23, he went 18-0. The next season, he went 56-0 and won the state championship at 139. This season hasnโt been too bad, either. Bassett is 35-0 with 22 tech falls, 11 falls and two forfeits. To put that into perspective, none of Bassettโs 35 matches has gone the distance.
For Bassett, all of his options are good ones.

Now, he has the list narrowed down to four. So the question is, where will he commit?

Bassett got a big endorsement to pick Penn State by a football star with a background in wrestling.

Bassett was on hand for No. 1 Penn Stateโs 30-8 domination of No. 2 Iowa at the Bryce Jordan Center this past Friday night.
Weโll see what he decides. In any case, heโll be going to a big time program, and it would be a huge recruiting grab for either Penn State wrestling or somebody else.
