Former Penn State RB Saquon Barkley’s Latest TD Features Possible Side of Beef

Saquon Barkley had one of the best games in NFL history Sunday, Nov. 24 against the Rams in Los Angeles.

The latest Saquon Barkley long touchdown run was different for a few reasons.

For one, it was in the playoffs.

It also featured a side of beef.

Earlier this week, Rams defensive end Jared Verse made headlines for what he said about Eagles fans.

On Sunday, near the end of Barkley’s 62-yard TD run, Verse was behind him. Barkley made sure to slow down and look back. Whether or not this was because of what Verse said is unconfirmed, but fans are likely to believe that it was.

“I hate Eagles fans,” Verse told The Times. “They’re so annoying. I hate Eagles fans.”

“I didn’t even do nothing to ‘em,” he said. “It was my first time playing. Oh, I hate Eagles fans … When I see that green and white I hate it. I actually get upset. Like I actually genuinely get hot.”
The Eagles showed Verse’s words on the scoreboard Sunday in case fans didn’t know.
