Penn State football’s first Junior Day weekend of 2025 has netted at least one commitment.

Late Saturday afternoon, Julian Peterson, a three-star Class of 2026 DB from Winslow Township High School in Atco, New Jersey, announced that he had committed to Penn State.

Winslow Township is a school that some PSU fans will recognize.

It’s head coach is Bill Belton, who played RB at Penn State from 2011 to 2014, being part of Joe Paterno’s last PSU team and James Franklin’s first.

As for Peterson, he also had offers from Boston College, Duke, East Carolina, Georgia, Missouri, Pitt, Syracuse, UCF and West Virginia.

Penn State now has nine players committed to its 2026 Class. Peterson is the first cornerback to commit.
