STATE COLLEGE – With tons of anticipation surrounding the first ever College Football Playoff game at Beaver Stadium, Penn State fans were able to enjoy watching the Nittany Lions cruise to an easy victory. Aided by mistakes and interceptions by SMU quarterback Kevin Jennings, Penn State beat the Mustangs 38-10 and advanced to the next round and a Fiesta Bowl matchup with Boise State.
