UNIVERSITY PARK— Penn State CB Zion Tracy got his first interception at a pretty massive moment.
With Penn State up 3-0 in the first quarter, Ohio State had a 3rd and 5.
Tracy read a pass from QB Will Howard beautifully and picked it off, running in 31 yards untouched for a touchdown.
This put Penn State ahead, 10-0, and for Tracy, it’s the play of his life so far. The second-year CB has picked up increased playing time this season after burning his redshirt as a true freshman.
Tracy has played in each of Penn State’s first seven games, picking up a total of 120 snaps per Pro Football Focus. 89 of those snaps were in the slot, which is where Tracy was for that interception.
If Penn State ends up beating Ohio State, Tracy’s pick will go down in history. If it doesn’t beat OSU, the play will unfortunately likely be forgotten by most people but remembered anyway by Tracy and those close to him.
Perfect read by Zion Tracy. pic.twitter.com/3WCcTRDbZg
