We now know the game time for Penn State football’s last regular-season road contest of the 2024 season, scheduled for Nov. 23 against Minnesota.
The Big Ten announced Monday afternoon that Penn State-Minnesota is scheduled to kick off at 3:30 on CBS.

This will be the first time Penn State has played at Minnesota since 2019.
That afternoon didn’t go well for Penn State. PSU came in unbeaten and ranked No. 4 but fell 31-26 at No. 17 Minnesota. This season, Penn State is again ranked in the top five and Minnesota isn’t ranked anywhere. Minnesota has had an up-and-down campaign, currently sitting at 6-4. Minnesota’s most recent outing was a 26-19 loss at Rutgers.

Before Penn State plays Minnesota, it has to take on Purdue in West Lafayette. Purdue has had a rough go of it in 2024, losing eight of its first nine games. The most recent performance was a 45-0 drubbing at the hands of Ohio State in Columbus. To make matters even worse, Purdue’s lone win didn’t come against Big Ten or even Power Four competition. The only team Purdue has beaten has been Indiana State, which it pounded 49-0 Week 1. Penn State isn’t Indiana State.

Minnesota doesn’t play anybody this week. The team’s bye wasn’t scheduled until mid-November. After playing Penn State, Minnesota will, as always, end the season by playing Wisconsin for Paul Bunyan’s axe, with a noon game time for this year’s showdown.
