Donald Trump Will Not Attend Penn State-Ohio State

Donald Trump has already been to two big football games within the past several weeks, and Penn State-Ohio State could be another one.

It looked like Penn State football’s showdown with Ohio State Saturday, Nov. 2 in Beaver Stadium would feature an appearance from former President and current presidential candidate Donald Trump.

That will not be happening.

As first reported by Onward State and since confirmed by outlets such as  the Centre Daily Times and PennLive, Trump will not be in Happy Valley per a university spokesperson.

Had Trump attended, it would have added to what would be a huge weekend at Penn State regardless. Penn State is No. 3, Ohio State No. 4. College GameDay will be at Happy Valley for the first time since 2021.

TRUMP WAS JUST HERE

The Bryce Jordan Center is where Donald Trump will be for a rally Oct. 26, the same day Penn State plays Wisconsin.

Trump was recently in Happy Valley for a rally held this past Saturday, Oct. 26 inside the Bryce Jordan Center. The rally featured appearances by past and current Penn State wrestlers, with 2024 Olympian Zain Retherford speaking.

“It’s truly an honor to be here. Thank you for recognizing us,” Retherford, a three-time NCAA champ and two-time Dan Hodge Trophy winner before becoming an Olympian, said.  “And Pennsylvania is a super important state, we need to win this election, and let’s Make America Great Again. Go vote.”

Other wrestlers included Matt Lee, Connor Mirasola, Cole Mirasola, Brock Weiss, Zack Ryder, Ty Watson, Mason Ellis, Connor Pierce, Jack Kelly, Sean Degl and Luke Lilledahl. He also invited former wrestlers Tony Bobulinski, Morgan McIntosh and Joe Lee.

WITH OR WITHOUT TRUMP…

If Penn State beats Wisconsin and Ohio State beats Nebraska, the Nov. 2 showdown between Penn State and Ohio State will be a top five clash.

Regardless of Trump’s presence, Penn State will have to take on Ohio State in what’s, by far, the most anticipated matchup of the regular season. Kickoff is scheduled for noon on Fox.

Penn State is 1-9 against OSU in the James Franklin era and will look to flip the script Saturday.
