Penn State isn’t having a great day overall thus far but QB Drew Allar is.
In the first quarter, Allar started Penn State’s scoring with a 5-yard run.
Early in the second quarter, Allar hit speedy WR Omari Evans for a 29-yard score.
It was a much-needed boost for Evans, who dropped a pass on the previous drive that would have netted a 3rd and 17 conversion. This time, Evans made sure to finish the job.
