It didn’t take a former Penn State WR long to make an impact this preseason.
Three minutes into Jacksonville’s first exhibition game, Parker Washington took a kickoff return 74 yards, setting the Jaguars up at Kansas City’s 20-yard line.
The Jags eventually scored a touchdown and a PAT to go ahead 7-3.
Washington, who started in each of his three seasons at Penn State, is in his second NFL season, both of which have been with Jacksonville. As a rookie, the sixth-round pick got some playing time late in the season and ended up catching 16 passes for 132 yards and two scores in just nine games.
