Penn State to Get Official Visit from One of Top WRs in Class of 2025

Wide receiver is one position that the Penn State football program needs to improve over the next couple of recruiting classes.

Through graduation, transfers and lack of development, the Nittany Lions will be looking and need to upgrade that spot in order to compete for championships.

Someone that can definitely help out with that is talented junior Phillip Bell.

Bell is a 5-star wide receiver from Mission Viejo, California, who’s been offered by programs such as Penn State, USC, Ohio State, Tennessee, Washington, Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Miami Fla., Michigan, Notre Dame, Oklahoma, Ole Miss, Oregon, Texas A&M, UCLA, etc.

With that sort of interest, getting an official visit is crucial and fortunately for James Franklin, Bell has announced that he’ll be making a summer visit to State College.

Bell has announced the following upcoming official visits:

Washington: May 31st-June 2.

Penn State: June 7-9th.

Ohio State: June 14-16.

Tennessee: June 18-20.

USC: June 21-23.

This won’t be Bell’s first trip to Penn State as he made an unofficial visit in March.

At this time, Rivals and On3 don’t list a favorite for Bell, while 247 Sports predicts that Bell will be heading to USC.
