**Sophomore 4-star running back Messiah Mickens made a very early commitment to Penn State back in August of 2023. Because he won’t be able to sign his official letter of intent, expect other programs to continue to pursue him. That happened today as Mickens announced that he’d received an offer from Kentucky. The native of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania also holds offers from Alabama, Duke, Georgia, Miami, Michigan, Michigan State, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Oregon, Texas A&M, Virginia Tech, West Virginia and Wisconsin.

**Penn State has extended an offer to 2027 defensive end Joseph Buchanan III from McDonogh School in Maryland. This talented freshman received his first Power 4 offer from Syracuse.
