Penn State recently met with one of the top quarterback recruits in the class of 2025.

Spring-Ford QB Matt Zollers reportedly met with Pitt and Penn State over the weekend. Both schools are finalists for the 6-4, 200-pound prospect.

A four-star recruit from Royersford, PA, near Philadelphia, Zollers will officially commit on Thursday (April 4) at 3 p.m. He plans on visiting SEC powers Alabama and Georgia before making a decision, per On 3. Penn State offensive coordinator Andy Kotelnicki is in his first season manning the PSU offense and recruiting.

Zollers ranks as the sixth-best QB in the class and the top player in Pennsylvania. He also has offers from Missouri, Boston College, Duke, Florida, Kentucky, Michigan State, Maryland, and Syracuse, among others. He won First-Team All-District and All-League at Spring-Ford. The righty QB threw for 2,917 yards and 37 touchdowns last season.
