As expected, Penn State guard Kanye Clary has entered the transfer portal per Rivals.com
Clary had an interesting run at Penn State that started with him being a role player as a true freshman on an NCAA Tournament team and ended in dismissal.
In between, he became Penn State’s top scorer, averaging 16.7 points per game.
Then, in late February, he was dismissed from the team for what Penn State coach Mike Rhodes called a “coach’s decision.” It was immediately presumed by most that Clary’s next stop would be the transfer portal, and that’s turned out to be the case. He has two seasons of eligibility remaining.
Clary is the third Penn State player to hit the portal, with Bragi Gudmundson and Favour Aire being the first two.
