Former Penn State DB: ‘Dey Firing da Wrong Guy’

Former Penn State cornerback Marquis Wilson had some choice words for the program following the firing of offensive coordinator Mike Yurcich.

Wilson took to X to state: “Dey firing da wrong guy.”

Wilson recorded 57 tackles, three tackles-for-loss, and two interceptions as a Nittany Lion from 2019-2022.

Penn State fell to 8-2 Saturday after a 24-15 loss at Beaver Stadium. The offense combined for 238 total yards and was 4-for-14 on third down. PSU combined for 27 points against Ohio State and Michigan. 

Could Wilson be referring to head coach James Franklin?

Franklin is now 3-7 against the Michigan and 1-9 against Ohio State in his Penn State coaching career.
