UNIVERSITY PARK — It didn’t take long for the second offense to make its presence known in Saturday’s game against UMass. It’d go 49 yards in four plays culminating in a 2-yard touchdown rush by Trey Potts.
The touchdown was Potts’ second of the season on the ground. It also came on his first carry of the game.
