Twitter Reaction From Penn State QB Drew Allar’s Rollercoaster Day

Drew Allar looks to hit a crossing Dante Cephas.

UNIVERSITY PARK— Saturday was one heck of a day for Penn State QB Drew Allar, for good reasons at bad.

With a little more than five minutes left and Penn State leading 24-21 in Saturday’s game against Indiana, Allar threw his first college interception and set Indiana up near Penn State’s red zone.

After Penn State’s defense held Indiana to a game-tying field goal, Allar had a chance to redeem himself.

He cashed in, hitting KeAndre Lambert-Smith for a 57-yard score with 1:46 left. Penn State ended up winning, 33-24.

Allar ended the day 20-for-31 with 210 yards, three touchdowns and an interception.

The people of Twitter had a lot of good and bad to say. Here are examples of each.
