Keep updated on the latest news concerning Penn State sports in today’s Penn State Daily.
Update (8:25 a.m.)— **Justin Denson Jr. will be at this weekend’s game. Denson (2024) is a three-star All-American from the Wyoming Seminary Upper School in Kingston, Pennsylvania. The 6-foot-1, 180-pound CB has been committed to Michigan State since the Fourth of July and hasn’t de-committed yet. Denson is one of the many MSU commits worth keeping an eye on in the aftermath of coach Mel Tucker’s firing amid sexual harassment allegations. Before announcing his commitment, Denson had a top five of Alabama, Florida, Michigan State Oklahoma and Texas A&M. PSU offered him in April. Along with his top five and Penn State, Denson has offers from schools such as Arizona State, Arkansas, Colorado, Florida State, Kansas, Kentucky, Maryland, Miami, Notre Dame, Ole Miss, Purdue, South Carolina, Syracuse, Tennessee, West Virginia and Wisconsin.
Penn State has three corners committed to its 2024 Class: Four-star Jon Mitchell (Jacksonville) and three-stars Kenneth Woseley (Philadelphia) and Antoine Belgrave-Shorter (Jacksonville). Mitchell and Belgrave-Shorter are teammates at Mandarin High School. The current Penn State team has one of the best CB duos in the country with Kalen King and Johnny Dixon.
