Watch: Squirrel Scores TD in PSU vs WVU

In 1925, Penn State purchased four eastern grey squirrels to help populate their campus. Nearly 100 years later, one such squirrel has finally broken down barriers by becoming the first squirrel to score a TD at Beaver Stadium, at least in a nationally televised game.

During Penn State’s game against West Virginia on Saturday night, a squirrel interrupted the game by running on the field. Video of said squirrel can be found below.

It appears toward the end of the video that the  squirrel wanted to return to his forestry roots, and was simply searching for a Mountaineer to take him home.
