Accountably is something coach James Franklin and the Penn State football program stress.
An example of this took place last November, when Franklin did 15 push-ups as a result of picking up a 15-yard un-sportsmanlike conduct penalty in a game against Maryland at Beaver Stadium.
And now you know why James Franklin did pushups on the sideline. 😆 pic.twitter.com/Tuik3Od8Lj

At this Tuesday’s weekly presser, Franklin showed off his push-up skills again.
In his opening statement, Franklin said that Saturday’s game against Iowa will be the 17th full-stadium White Out in Beaver Stadium history. He then noticed what he saw as a puzzled expression from Audrey Snyder of the Athletic and asked about it. It turns out that this will be the 15th full-stadium White Out, not the 17th.
When Franklin found out he had been wrong, he did five push-ups.
Watch all five below.
Saturday is the 15th full stadium White Out in Beaver Stadium. James Franklin said 17th in the opening statement and I guess I looked confused by that. He asked why.
He then stopped the presser and did push ups bc his facts were incorrect.
He's in a good mood today.
